pour in place rubber dragon hopscotchFoster park pour in place

Tucked away in a quiet family neighbourhood in Parksville is Foster Park, now home to an extensively renovated playground. Pea gravel was replaced with pour in place recycled rubber safety surfacing in waves of blue, green and grey.  Desired design elements were enhanced through the creativity of the Marathon Surfaces design team and talented installers, who were able to add an intricate and vibrant dragon hopscotch to the surfacing. Community fundraising, private and corporate donations, and a grant from the Tire Stewardship of BC all made this project possible.
