The City of Kamloops wanted to revitalize the wading pool in Prince Charles Park.  Design aspects of this project were extremely important to the City.  Their wish was to have a variety of sea creatures, with expressive eyes in vibrant colours that would appear to come to life with the movement of the water.  Marathon Surfaces was able to fulfill these wishes by installing Landsafe pour in place recycled rubber safety surfacing  within the wading pool, as well as surfacing the surrounding concrete area for added safety and aesthetics.  Large scale sea characters were inlaid into the rubber surfacing, providing fun, durable and permanent design elements to this popular area within Kamloops flagship park.
